"Managua" is the capital city of Nicaragua. This city has been partially decimated by at least 3 earthquakes and an insurrection war during the 70s'. In spite of this, the city has remained as the main political and cultural center of Nicaragua, and the most populated.
Indeed, one out of four Nicaraguans lives in Managua. In recent years, Managua has experienced an economic booming that has raised the capability of the city to receive travelers, and investors among them.
The Nicaragua Spanish School in Granada offers Spanish Courses for all levels, from the very beginner to the most advanced. You can count on small class size, plus school-organized activities to supplement your lessons. What's more, the student may choose from a wide variety of topics, ranging from general Spanish to Spanish while traveling, and leisure activities and more.
We offer two options of home-stay: with a local
family or in the school, in where you will have the same benefits like 3
meals per day, a private room with bath and live with the director's family.
The school provides cultural activities and visits
with local community organizations with access to volunteer opportunities in the community. Optional weekend excursions include trips to neighboring beaches, towns, and lake Nicaragua. You can also join our Volunteer Nicaragua program
