Nicaragua is a very beautiful!

Nicaragua is a very beautiful country and one of Central America’s largest states. It is commonly referred to as the land of lakes and volcanoes due to the presence of several large volcanoes and being surrounded by fresh water lakes. Managua is its capital city. The country is rich in colonial architecture and known for its artifacts. Although English is widely spoken in these regions, Spanish is the official language here.

However, Nicaragua has a very rich culture and tradition. Its culture and tradition have played a pivotal role in making it a vibrant and colourful community. The dance and the music of this place make it a very hot tourist destination. That is why the tourism industry has been growing here tremendously. Its economy depends heavily on its tourism. Its tourism sector has seen positive acceleration in the last few years. It is also well known for its production of beef and tobacco.

Nicaragua is also one of the best places where you can learn Spanish. It is also one of the few places where you can learn Spanish at a relatively lower cost. The average cost of a decent school here is anywhere between US $ 100 and US $ 120 for a total of 20 hours of instruction. The study of the Spanish language includes (apart from the study material) field trips and homestay  i.e some schools where you learn Spanish, provide you the option to reside with a local family during your stay in Nicaragua. Otherwise you can continue to live in the school itself. The Spanish schools also arrange for meals and take complete care of the students. If you are willing to shell out more money the instructors can provide you with Spanish lessons in the hotel itself.  You can get cheaper bargains if your stay for study purposes extends beyond a week.

The Spanish schools that undertake to teach Spanish do it methodically. To qualify you need to have an intermediate knowledge of the language. However, in some cases the need for knowing the language too is not required.  Some people testify that they have picked up the language by just interacting with the locals during the community programs. Due to the cultural immersion programs initiated in schools in Nicaragua that teach Spanish, there has been an extensive influx of people coming into Nicaragua to do community work. Also, this country has been observing people from foreign countries entering here for volunteer work.
Nicaragua is primarily an agrarian economy and also the second poorest country in the Western hemisphere. It lacks in education and health too. A number of volunteer programs are run here for the upliftment of the people. These community service programs and volunteer programs have helped the poor and the rural masses of Nicaragua tremendously. Moreover, it provides people that have a real passion for volunteer work to reach out to the people who need them.
Be it for any purpose that you intend to visit Nicaragua- for its vibrant culture, architecture, to learn Spanish or to do volunteer work, one thing’s for sure you will not return home disappointed
